Nursing Programs by Distance from SJCC

Many students only want to apply to the nursing programs that are in the South Bay, or may be willing to extend slightly farther in order to commute. Because we live in the Bay Area, with millions of people, it means that programs in the Bay Area are extremely competitive. Students may want or need to cast a wider net and search for schools outside of their local geographic area. I've created two lists - schools by distance, sorted by ADN and BSN, and schools by geographic area. 

One of the things that I mention in the nursing workshop, is that for those who are able to relocate, schools in the eastern part of the state are often more affordable and somewhat less competitive and should be included in your prospective schools if you are not as competitive an applicant as you would like to be. 

Each school will link to a separate page with additional information about prerequisites, selection criteria and application deadlines. It is always the student's responsibility to check the schools' websites for information as it changes frequently.
